Baked Salmon with Sesame and Marjoram

Salmon and sesame oil always make a delicious combination. You can't go wrong with this recipe.

Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 1 teaspoon of avocado oil.
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar.
  • 4 teaspoon of sesame oil.
  • 4 (4-5 oz./140g) salmon fillets.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper to taste.
  • 1/8 cup/16g of sesame seeds.
  • 1/8 cup/16g. of marjoram seeds.
  • 2 teaspoons of fresh thyme.

Instructions

1 Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius, dry the salmon with a bunch of paper towels then set aside. Grease a large baking sheet with avocado oil then add in the salmon fillets. Using a small mixing bowl, add in all the ingredients on the list aside from the seeds then mix to combine.
2 Pour the mixture into the baking sheet then place the sheet into the preheated oven. Bake the salmon for about fifteen minutes until it is cooked through then set in a clean serving plate. Place a skillet pan over medium heat, add in the seeds then toast for a few minutes until cooked. Sprinkle the seeds over the salmon then serve.
