    Delicious Chicken Soup

    Warm up your cosy winter evenings with this hearty chicken soup.

    Ingredients for 6 servings

    • 16 oz./448g of diced and cooked chicken.
    • 6 cups/1400ml of bone broth.
    • 4 tablespoons of butter, avocado oil, or olive oil as desired.
    • 8 ounces/230g (2 stalks) of sliced celery root.
    • 1 cup/115g (1/2) of sliced celery.
    • 1/2 small and diced of onion.
    • 1/3 cup/50g of diced carrot.
    • 1 large and sliced garlic clove.
    • 1 teaspoon of lemon zest.
    • 1 whole bay leaf.
    • 1 tablespoon of garlic herb seasoning blend.
    • 2 teaspoon of chicken base bouillon.
    • 1/4 cup/60ml dry white wine.
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    1 Use a sharp knife to dice the chicken then cut the veggies as desired. Place a cooking pot over medium heat then add in the butter. Once the butter melts, add in the sliced/cut vegetables, lemon zest, and bay leaf, stir everything to combine and cook for a few minutes.
    2 Decrease the heat, add in other ingredients like the seasoning blend, the chicken base, and wine, stir properly to combine then cook for about three minutes until the vegetables become soft. Next, add in the broth and bring the soup to a boil.
    3 Decrease the heat to a simmer and cook until the veggies are cooked through. Add in the chicken, salt, and pepper to taste, stir to combine then serve.
