This guilty pleasure is a traditional meal deliciously reinvented. Hold on to your seat, it'll be a wild flavour ride!

Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 3 pounds/1500g of chicken wings.
  • 4 tablespoons of melted butter or ghee as desired.
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • 2 minced garlic cloves.
  • 1 teaspoon of salt to taste.
  • 1/3 teaspoon of black pepper to taste.
  • 1/3 teaspoon of cayenne pepper.
  • 1/2 chili pepper.
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger powder.
  • 1 tablespoon of swerve.
  • 1 lemon juice.
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.
  • 1 lime juice.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chopped fresh parsley.

Instructions

1 Preheat the oven to 100 degrees Celsius, grease a baking sheet with oil then set aside. Use paper towels to dry the chicken wings then place in a large bowl, set aside. Using a small mixing bowl, add in the rest of the ingredients on the list aside from the lemon slices and the parsley then mix properly to combine.
2 Pour the mixture into the bowl containing the chicken, then toss properly to coat. Place the lemon sliced around the greased baking sheet, add in the chicken then place the baking sheet into the preheated oven.
3 Bake the chicken for about forty-five to fifty minutes until it is cooked through, brown in colour, and crisp. Serve the chicken with chopped parsley and lemon and lime wedges, enjoy.
